About the job

We are looking for a driven Account Manager to join our team as we are expanding to serve our existing and new customers. 

As Account Manager, you are part of our Sales team, and you are the ambassador and face of ASP. For your customers, you are the first point of contact. You are responsible for selling projects to new customers. You find and follow up on them and act as primary contact.


To be able to play this role successfully, you have a good knowledge of IT, you actively listen to your customers, and you gain a good understanding of their needs and challenges. You are able to highlight ASP’s strengths and where they make the difference. You can also link a customer’s problem to one of our solutions. For (complex) technical support, you can fall back on experienced system & presales engineers, both within ASP and with our partners.

Tasks and responsibilities

Existing customers

  • Relationship management with existing customers
  • Maintenance and strengthening of existing relationships
  • Good knowledge of our customers’ projects and IT roadmap
  • Upselling and cross selling

 New customers

  • Active prospection especially for Cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure/Office365
    and ServiceNow
  • Collaborating with our marketing for lead generation and market development
  • Good understanding of the prospect’s needs, linking them with our solutions
  • Presentation of our solutions together with our partners and/or your direct colleagues
  • Write proposals and answer all clarifications questions

Partners (e.g. Dell, ServiceNow, VMWware, Checkpoint,…)

  • Strengthen relationships with our key partners’ sales teams
  • Represent ASP and highlight its added value

How do you qualify for this position?

  • You are very customer-oriented, driven and prospecting does not scare you off
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably IT-related
  • You have already built-up experience in a sales function, preferably IT-related
  • You are organized and can work both independently and in a team
  • You are a go-getter with a hands-on mentality, you are result-oriented and stress-resistant
  • You are communicatively strong, enthusiastic, mature and know how to convince in negotiations
  • You have a healthy interest in IT and have potential to grow with our organisation
  • You have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email tools
