Trafic is a chain of stores specializing in local discount and non-food distribution. Nowadays, Trafic has more than 83 stores across Belgium, France and Luxembourg. They are located in rural areas or around small towns.
The Challenge
Vincent Chenut (IT director @Trafic) : “Given the low average price of our products, it is important to control and optimize the complete logistics flow of our supply chain. Therefore, we already had chosen for SAP 20 years ago and in 2018 we decided to migrate to SAP Hana”.
The Solution
This project required the implementation of a specific, complex and powerful infrastructure (SAP HANA) that can support the heavy processes and the unitary stock management of all our stores. ASP and DELL were shortlisted and finally chosen as the result of an RFP.
More precise, the implementation of the new infrastructure started in January 2018 and lasted for a month. Subsequently, the migration of the applications took until June. All with the responsive and professional support of ASP.
The Result
As a result of this project, Trafic now has a renewed, powerful and a more uniform infrastructure which allows us to reduce our maintenance costs and the number of technology partners. They really appreciate ASP for its broad expertise which is supported by an agile and competent team. As Trafic has limited internal resources to manage their infrastructure, ASP has proven to be the perfect match.
