From October 13 till 16, VMworld – the largest virtualization event in Europe – took place in Barcelona. Together with my colleagues – David and Pieter – I joined this yearly conference about virtualization and cloud technology for the first time. We got to choose between no less than 400 sessions, 50 hands-on labs and 14 expert led sessions about subjects like vRealize, Virtual SAN, NSX, Horizon 6 and vCloud Air. A difficult decision to make! Besides the sessions there was also the Solution Exchange where we could exchange tips and tricks and discuss problem cases with cutting-edge companies. The Partner Lounge was the perfect place to withdraw after a lab or session and to exchange ideas with other IT professionals.
It was great to be part of the VMware experience in a warm and welcoming city like Barcelona. Can’t wait till VMworld 2015!
