Start by creating your ServiceNow Developer account

Once you have registered, log in and request your own personal developer instance so you can start exploring ServiceNow.

Click on “Learn overview” for an overview of the full ServiceNow curriculum and learning path.

UNDER THE “LEARN” MENU CLICK ON LEARNING PLANS.

To become familiar with the ServiceNow platform, and answer the exercise, follow the following learning plans:

• Citizen Developer (learning plans)
• New to ServiceNow (learning plans)

What’s the exercise?

1. Change the NOW logo in the top left corner with the ASP logo.

2. Service Portal: create an item and publish it on the service portal, so that employees/users can order or request something.

3. Customise the incident form with fields of your choice: create 5 customised fields and put them on the form.

4. Build 2 views on incidents and explain how you did it.

5. Build a visual task board and explain what the added value can be for an organization using it!
