Tasks and responsibilities
Your primary duties and responsibilities will encompass:
- Incident and service request-handling respecting the internal procedures
- Projects such as design, installation, configuration & upgrades of complex networks (VLAN 802.1q, STP/MLT, TCP/IP, QoS, ACL, Active Directory integration,…)
- Ownership for the client relationship: you are recognized by the client as a business partner, from whom to seek advise
- Staying abreast of emerging developments, ensuring your knowledge remains at the cutting edge of industry trends
- Gain experience, become an expert in your field and guide your colleagues with their complex technical questions
- Contributing as a valuable member of our stand-by support team
How do you qualify for this position?
Must-have:
- Certifications are certainly a plus
- Take the client’s needs into consideration, being a good communicator, a real problem solver, pay attention to details and fearless in taking initiative
Nice-to-have:
- Speak fluently English, Dutch and/or French (written and spoken)
- Bachelor in IT with at least 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Master in industrial/civil Engineering
Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following domains:

- Dell Networking (Os9/0S10)
- Cisco Switching
- Cisco Wireless
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco Meraki (switching, wireless, SDWAN),
