About the job

We are looking for a driven Account Manager to join our team as we are expanding to serve our existing and new customers. 

As an account manager you are ASP ambassador and our public face. You are the first point of contact for new business while taking care of the relations with our existing customers.

Tasks and responsibilities

Customer & partners relationship management  

Existing customers (70% of the time) 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships  
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and IT needs to provide tailored solutions and services 
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and continuously seeking feedback 

New customers (30% of the time) 

  • Actively identify and research potential new customers in the target market segments to expand our customer base 
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and identify new business opportunities, linking them with our solutions  
  • Develop a strategic approach to prospecting, including cold-calling, networking, attending events, … 
  • Collaborating with our marketing for lead generation and market development 

Partners 

  • Strengthen relationships with our key partners’ sales teams 
  • Represent ASP and highlight its added value 

Sales & business development  

  • Collaborate on proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations to secure new projects and services 
  • Participate in customer presentations and workshops to highlight our company’s expertise and offerings 

How do you qualify for this position?

Must-have: 

  • Fluently English, Dutch and/or French (written and spoken)  
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email tools 
  • Very customer-oriented, driven and prospecting does not scare you off
  • Communicatively strong, enthusiastic, mature and know how to convince in negotiations 
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team 

Nice-to-have:  

  • Holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field 
  • Prior experience in a sales function, preferably IT-related
